FM15: Spartans FC Update – 2027/2028: Something to remember

It’s certain. This is definitely the best Football Manager save I have ever play. My Spartans FC team won the Scottish Premier League with incredible stats – 38 matches and 38 wins. It’s really incredible. I can’t remember if I managed something similar during previous years with Championship/Football Manager.

We won four league titles in previous four season so I wanted to complete fifth title in same amount of years. I did not hope in such success.

Transfers 2027/2028

We had a relatively quiet summer in terms of transfers. We sold goalkeeper Kenny Lindsay to Hibs, striker John Adams to Middlesbrough for £3M and midfielder Dylan McMahon to Fulham for £1,4M. All of them don’t want to play for our team anymore. The rest of outgoing player were sent to lower leagues.

We brought eight new players to the club. But only Eoin Dunne is player for starting eleven. He was at our club in previous two seasons on-loan and he came for a free.

Rest of this group are players for the future. Central defender Frank Gallagher is 17-years-old. Six other players are 16-years-old. Some of them got chance to play in domestic cup and the Premier League. All of them did really well in their first season with the club.

European Super Cup 2027

It was the same as last year. We met Real Madrid, the winner of Champions League. We lost 1-3 last year and we were not able to beat Spanish giants this year as well. We conceded one more goal and lost 1-4. Valentino Lazzaroni scored our only goal. Erkan Eren scored one goal for Real Madrid. He is the most valued player in the game this year – £65M.

Scottish FA Cup

Same as last season, we were able to play first two matches with youngsters and with players outside starting eleven. The key match was in the Qtr Final against Celtic. We were excellent and beat our biggest rival 5-1.

Semi Final and Final were very easy for our side. We beat Hearts 4-0 firstly and Ross County 4-1 in the Final. It was our fifth FA Cup win in a row.

Champions League

We finally managed to go through to the Knockout Stage. We were drawn in Group B along with FC Porto, Olympique de Marseille and Feyenoord. We got eight points in first four matches of the group thanks to a draws with Porto and Feyenoord respectively and wins against Marseille and Feyenoord.

We lost the fifth match against Porto and we need at least one point in the last match with Marseille to secure qualification from the group. The match ended with a 0-0 draw and we were through. But our joy did not last long.

We got Manchester City in the 1st Knockout Round and it was our end. We lost both matches and ended this year’s journey in the European cups.

Scottish Premier League

The best for last. The Premier League season 2027/2028 was absolutely incredible for us. And we will not forget this for a long time. We won all of 38 league matches. We scored 99 goals and conceded only 17. We gained 114 points and we have set new records of the league.

John Smith became one of the three best goalscorers of the season with 19 goals. Sean McLaughlin had 14 assists and Aidan Kehoe kept 25 clean sheets! And the new records? We gained 114 points and no club in the history made it before. We are 107 matches without loss. The series runs from September 20, 2025 to present.

I confess that I have never seen anything like this in my careers in previous years. Maybe I’m a little pathetic, but this has got me…
