FM16: “The Academics” – part VIII – Don’t hurry!

When the first half of the 2016/2017 season finished we were among the teams who were in race to promotion to the Danish Superliga. We played very good football in the spring part of the season but we not reached promotion spot after the last league round. It might seem like a disappointment but I’m very happy with our fifth place in the league because: it would be too fast progress  & we played many matches with youngsters and we wanted to develope them.

As I wrote in previous part, we had a very long mid-season break. It took more than three months when players were on holiday and there was not much to do. I wanted to bring some new players to the club but we have very limited funds so we were able to make only one loan signing. There was the first Youth Intake as well and it looks very promising for us.

FM16: “The Academics” – part III – Autumn Champions

The first part of the 2015/2016 season is behind us and it was very diffident start to life with this Danish side. Mainly because of the fact that the club is semi-professional and the players do not train every day, it’s harder to increase tactic familiarity faster as you should expect.
