FM17 | Reading FC | part XXXVIII | 2034-2037

Three years later. Three virtual seasons were played in the Football Manager 2017 save with Reading FC. Many new young our own players made it from youth to the first team and some of them are already our key players and they deserve some attention. If you’re still interested in this save you can read about everything that happened during the last three years.

FM17 | Reading FC | part XXXVII | 2032-2034

Hello, everyone, we have passed another two seasons in the virtual world of Reading FC. If you remember it right we won our 10th Champions League trophy in a row at the end of the last update. That was at the end of the 2031/2032 season. It was a major success but we were very good in next two seasons as well. Let’s take a look.

FM17 | Reading FC | part XXXVI | Ten times in a row

Give me one! Give me two! Give me three!…Give me ten! The 2031/2032 season is over and trust or not Reading FC won the Champions League for the tenth times in a row. Achievement? As FMSamo like to say “Ridiculous!”

Despite I wrote in the previous posts I will cover more than one season to enjoy the save I decided to write about this season separately because I think the tenth Champions League trophy in a row is an amazing record and huge achievement.

FM17 | Reading FC | part XXXIV | Legends retired

If you follow my FM17 journey with Reading FC you know I decided to stick with many players from the original squad. Two of them are defender Jordan Obita and striker Dominic Samuel.

I reached the year of 2029 and I knew just before the end of this season it will be sad summer. These two players decided to retire from professional football at the age of 35.

FM17 | Reading FC | part XXIII | Trophies, Trophies Everywhere!

Hello everyone, welcome back to the virtual world of Reading FC. If you read the previous parts of my Football Manager 2017 save with this English club you know I won the Champions League for the fifth time in a row in the 11th season.

I also wrote about the development of players from the original squad as some of them reached their thirties.

FM17 | Reading FC | part XXII | Stick with the team II.

The 11th season of my FM17 save with Reading is over and I decided to make another update of players who are in the club from the beginning. Some of them already left us in previous two seasons but it was not a huge exodus. But some them wanted to go for a new challenge and I decided to not stay in their way.

I wrote “Stick with the team” at the end of the January this year and this part was after the seventh season with Reading.

FM17 | Reading FC | part XIX | Updated 4-3-1-2

In the middle of November 2016 I published the fifth part of my Reading save in FM17. It was about my 4-3-1-2 formation and the changes I made after I played the first months of the save with 4-3-3 formation. The 4-3-1-2 tactical set up was changed during the next seasons and I decided to write about it once again.

Some of you wrote me in the recent weeks and months you want to read (but mainly download) the new and updated version of this formation. So there it is.

#FM17 | Reading FC | part XVIII | Septuple!

Well, if you thought the eighth season was extremely succesful (and it surely was) I don’t know what you will think at the end of this part. The ninth season with Reading FC in Football Manager 2017 was even more successful as we won one more trophy than in previous season.

It’s crazy, isn’t it? I think it is because I really did not hope for trophy galore like this.
